Food for thought

July 30, 2012 ˜ Mexican sweets are generally not my favorite as EVERYTHING is covered in hot chili powder. While I love a spicy Mexican hot chocolate, the 6 year olds can have the sticky mango & pineapple in chili spice. However, I have salivated over Churros (Mexican donuts) for 3 years now, just knowing that they will be my healthy eating undoing. As I cross the border for the very last time — I intend to buy a huge order of these sweet, greasy treats from one of the vendors to start our cross-country drive. Try them at home with this Churro recipe.
